• The Kenya Airways Pride Centre is located in Embakasi Nairobi. We are ideally located in the new frontier south of Nairobi, with ease of access to Mombasa Road, Jogoo Road Outering Road, amongst many other areas. The Pride Centre is East Africa‚Äôs Premier Training Facility, we can hold to a maximum of 530 participants at any given go.

    The Centre is equipped with facilities and equipment, that enhance learning. We have installed back up facilities to complement the service provided by our utility company ,this include a heavy duty generator and a bore-hole to serve the needs of the Pride Centre.

    The Pride Centre is designed with safety and security in mind, which is an integral part of the airline industry.

    Security is an important aspect at the Pride Centre and world-class security standards are maintained using modern equipment such as CCTV and Access Control Systems. The Pride Centre is manned on a 24 hour basis. All inward and outward traffic is routinely checked physically and with the aid of a hand-held metal detector.

    There are electrical power and water back-up facilities to complement the service provided by the utility companies. These include 2 heavy duty generators

    The Pride Centre I has a total of 9 class rooms, 3 computer labs, 2 meeting rooms, and one amphitheatre. The table below indicates the class room capacity and the equipment available.

    There are four computer labs in both Pride 1 and Pride II with a total of 69 computers. These have been equipped with the most up to date training software available, which includes but not limited to;

    The Pride Centre II has a total of 1 class room, 1 computer lab, 2 briefing and de-briefing rooms, 1 conference room, 2 simulator bays, 3 record centres ,and 1 virtual procedures training room .

    Virtual Procedures Trainer (VPT)

    There are three procedures trainers currently in use in Kenya Airways, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 777-200ER and Embraer E170-190

    Document Registry

    The Pride Centre has three large records keeping rooms, with secure storage cabinet, the rooms are located in Pride Centre II and are equipped with fire suppression systems.
